My EXTREMELY retro copy of SS arrived yesterday, courtesy of BookMooch. It has the pleasant image of a bird skeleton on the cover, and a blurb on the back from none other than Richard M. Nixon! Looking forward to starting this one.

Maria (mmwegner) | 1 comments SS is amazing, especially when you consider the social situation of Rachel Carson and the history of the environmental movement and its role in furthering the position of women as well. It's a great first pick.
