Cassian Brown | 2 comments Hello Folks

This is such a basic question I'm almost embarrassed to ask it ...

I plan to post a review of two novels on my website in the next few days.

Where can I legally obtain their cover images, and what is the most painless way of importing them? (One book, Keri Hulme's 'The Bone People', was first published in the 1980s.)

Cheers, Cassian

Charming Language (charminglanguage) | 1 comments You can easily just copy and paste them from another website, but strictly speaking, to do it legally, you should contact the publisher and ask their permission. On my blog, publishers have been happy to send me a .jpg of the cover image when they know I am reviewing the book. Of course this may be harder for older books that are now out of print. Good luck.

Cassian Brown | 2 comments Thanks TCM - took your advice and emailed Picador (PanMac) and got both a friendly response and a cover ...
