Good gods, the world is messed up.
I mean think about it. The world is full of people who don't care. People who don't mind, as long as they can keep on living the way they are. And only very rarely does a person who actually cares enough to do something crop up. And aside from those two catergories, well, life usually sucks for them. I'm reffering to people who live out on the streets. I'm talking about the ones who don't eat enough, the starving kids in Africa, the people who pretty much have very little to live for.
Do you care? And don't say yes just straight off, like most people would. Actually have the courage to look inside and awnser honestly.
Two things: One, sorry to start on such a depressing note, but it's an important subject, and two, please reply with an honest awnser. Please.

I like to think I care. And deep down, I know I care more than most people. And oh how I hate myself for being happy when I see the terrible things we pretend not to see. But, aren't I still here in my comfortable suburban home? Aren't I still eating too much junk food and going to school and laughing and being ungrateful? Yes.
But aren't I in service programs at my school? Didn't i put in over 50 hours of service last year? Doesn't it hurt me inside? Don't I wish I could do something? Do I accept that there's people in those conditions? Also yes.
