Energy, Economy Tough Balancing Act for Obama

Can it be done, well almost anything can be done. Is it likely? I think that the pieces would all have to fall into place exactly to be able to pull it off. I think that the easy side is to create jobs in the renewable energy arena, that will help stimulate the economy and cut down on emissions. The hard part will be to clean up what is already there, because there is no incentive for companies to want to spend money (lots of money) cleaning up the past where there is no financial pay back. This is money that is lost.
Right now I feel that he needs to focus on the economy while not losing any more ground on the environment. Then we can start to clean up the environment once expendable money is more available.
