My other two favorite Surrealist Artists are Salvidor Dali and Yves Tanguy. Salvidor Dali is probably more famous than Rene Magritte, just because he was weirder which I think is not fair. Yves Tanguy is not very famous at all, but I love his works. Yves did these weird shapes with odd textures in strange scenery. Dali stole Magritte's flaming giraffe.

I didn't even know Yves Tanguy exsisted until I went to the Art Institute of Chicago. I think Yves is my 2nd favorite Surrealist artist and Dali is my 3rd. I don't like Dali as much because Magritte didn't like Dali and Magritte is my hero and also because Dali was too obsessed with money and publicity.
Once I am extremely rich, I will buy a whole bunch of Magritte, Dali, and Tanguy prints. :-)))
That's nice. In a really weird way.
