Connie N. Does this razor blade work for 2A (cutting blade on the cover)?

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

Connie N. Thanks!

Janet F (janet_f) | 450 comments I'm guessing this would work. Scissors as a cutting blade? Thanks!
The Tailor of Panama by John le Carré

Janet F (janet_f) | 450 comments I see the answer above that essay collection should work. But it is such a pretty cover I had to post it!
Small Wonder by Barbara Kingsolver
& I'm looking forward to listening to it while driving west about 500+ miles tomorrow!

Janet F, both books work!

Suzanne | 216 comments Hi Mrs. Soule,

I'm wondering about task 5B - the travel task. How broad may I be interpreting that? (your note mentions the travel does not have to be by car). But, I'm thinking of a mental journey. The Good Psychologist: A Novel is a fictional work of a stripper with stage-fright going through psychotherapy to get herself back on stage.

Suzanne, there needs to be physical travel involved (train, foot, donkey cart, etc.) - so a journey of the mind won't work. The Good Psychologist: A Novel will only work if it involves a physical journey as well as a mental/emotional one. I can't tell from the Goodreads description but if you've read it and there is such a journey, be sure and describe it for the mods when you post. And I applaud your creative thinking! :-)

FYI - The Good Psychologist: A Novel DOES work for 6B (author born in Asia) - Noam Shpancer was born in Israel (country #29 on our wikipedia Asian countries list).

Claire, just in case you were asking, not stating, yes, both books work! :-)

Thanks Mrs. S! I figured I was reaching for the mental journey. :) Thanks for the tip on 6B - I read that Noam had grown up in a kibbutz, but didn't quite put 2 + 2 together!

Can any mix of tasks be also 2A and 2B , or the tasks have to be from different number options?

It can be any mix of any two different options - so 2A & 2b is fine, but 2 books for 2A isn't. Basically, no using the exact same choice twice.
