I just saw a little ditty somewhere that was a "how to" hack into roadsigns. Looks like this hacker was especially creative. :)

Sarah | 13815 comments Austin and Baltimore are cousins-in-weird.

message 5: by Gus (new)

Gus Sanchez (gussanchez) I love this. And for what it's worth, the zombie menace is real. Don't think for a second that our government hasn't been making contingency plans when the zombies rise from the dead...

Oh really?

message 7: by Félix (last edited Jan 29, 2009 11:59AM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) Austin is weirder. They work at it there.

message 8: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13815 comments AH, but we don't have to work at it. It just comes naturally.

That said, none of our homeless have ever run for mayor.

message 9: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Well said, Sarah Pi.

message 10: by Gus (new)

Gus Sanchez (gussanchez) Yes, really. They're going to let us common folk die while the government finds a place to govern in exile. Then they'll unleash their armies to destroy the zombie menace once and for all.

Sorry, I just read World War Z ...

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Olympia already HAS zombies. Really, the threat is overrated...

message 12: by Gåry! (new)

Gåry! (garyneill) If they show up, I'm sending this thing after them:

Especially interesting behavior when presented with an obstacle such as ice or an attempt to kick it over...

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Gary! That thing is fucking terrifying!!!!!

message 14: by Gåry! (new)

Gåry! (garyneill) Then don't look out your window.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments That's no dog, that's a giant BUG, Gary! Talk about terrifying!!!

message 16: by [deleted user] (last edited Jan 29, 2009 07:07PM) (new)

Haha! I wish I could spell your name with a heart over the a, Gåry. That's about the 8th time you've made me laugh today--and it was otherwise a pretty terrible day.

message 17: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy I always thought Big Dog was rather cute.

Here's beta-testing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXJZVZ...

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Not cute.

message 19: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments When I read the last few comments, I thought you were talking about Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson, an NBA basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks (mostly).

But you wouldn't want to call on him in times of need. He sucked at defense.

message 20: by Gus (new)

Gus Sanchez (gussanchez) "Big Dog" Robinson pretty much sucked at all things. He was dope at Purdue, but his pro career never panned out.

Speaking of zombies - American Zombie - George A. Romero's Film Revolution is a retrospective of the man's works...and it's coming to Charlotte!!! YAY!!!

Best of all will be the zombie costume party, followed by a screening of Diary of the Dead.

I'm so stoked. Anyone wanna join me and my undead buddies?

Awesome, Gus. I adore George A. Romero movies. He nails the zombie cult psyche. Completely.

I'll totally join you.

message 22: by Félix (last edited Feb 13, 2009 04:21PM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) When I lived in Texas, it was near where they filmed Night of the Living Dead.

message 24: by Félix (last edited Feb 13, 2009 04:26PM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) Yeah they built a shopping mall over it called La Frontera.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Is the mall haunted?

message 26: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) The entire physical plane is haunted Jim. Didn't you know that?

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

My bad Larry, of course I did.
