Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments Sorry. Here it is again. I just thought maybe it was a lame thing to post.

I really wish I had been there when it was shot.

Cyril | 493 comments I'm just glad there was no suprise scream at the end.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments What are they surrounded by? The flowers, or frogs?

message 5: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments Ha! Good one Cyril.

message 6: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments Um, I'm not sure, Jackie. I think maybe the frogs.

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments The flowers are purple loosestrife, a non-native plant that is taking over many wetlands in North America. Cattails are going away because of it.

I liked it. It reminded me of my dream to one day stand in a cranberry bog with hip waders on. Surrounded by beautiful cranberries! Someday!

message 9: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments Hip waders. Interesting.

Why does Martha get to do everything cool? First prison and now this?

message 11: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments You must be so envious.

message 12: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Wisconsin has a ton of cranberry bogs. I Must admit I never thought of wading in them before. However, that thing where Native Americans get wild rice by beating the reeds? Cool.

message 13: by Cyril (new)

Cyril | 493 comments I would just like it to be known that I hate cranberries. Rice is OK, at least the tame kind.

Cyril, I'm intrigued by your grouping of cranberries and rice into the same category.

Good morning all!

message 16: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments I had no idea there were cranberries in Wisconsin. Do they have catfish farms, too?

message 17: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Yeah, I didn't know it either until I moved here..cranberry bogs are huge in the north-central part of the state...

Wisconsin’s cranberry industry also has a strong impact on the state’s economy. As the state’s No. 1 fruit crop in both value and acreage, the cranberry industry currently provides nearly $350 million annually to the state’s economy and supports approximately 7,200 jobs across the state.

From the Wisconsin Cranberry Growers Association...I cited...:)

I don't know about catfish, though....

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm pretty sure that we do not have catfish farms, most of those are down south I believe.

message 19: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) | 24113 comments Frog farms?

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm pretty sure we don't have them either, but your getting closer, keep guessing.
