Bodice Ripper Readers Anonymous discussion

I do have epubs and other ebooks, but the one's that have been mentioned here, I don't have. BN does not offer all these like Amazon does for the kindle. They are few and far between.

I think a large part of the reason for that is Amazon's new Kindle Direct Publishing program(just google it for more info). The authors can sign on for a three month period and they can only sell their ebooks on Amazon during that period. The Prime Members get those books on loan free, but during that period the book(s) have to go up free, I think twice.

OH! But hopefully the all prices on ebooks will now come down due to the lawsuit against Apple and price fixing by the dept of justice!

China Rose by Marsha Canham just went free on Kindle for download, ladies. It's a bodice ripper, or at least her older version was. Much like Bound by the Heart, I'm under the impression she's probably edited out the bodice-rippery. I will be following up on that in the future.

I read China Rose a few months ago i'd give it **** really liked it, infact i've really enjoyed all of Marsh Canham's books & i'm really looking forward to her new book coming out, just hope it's going to be available for download on Amazon's UK site.

Iv'e noticed there's been a few ebook available on Amazon USA but not UK, why the hell not, it's so bloody annoying.......grrrrr

I've never heard of this book, but the review stated it was a good oldfashioned BR! THIS, has BR Anon ALL over it..so, I'm giddy in anticipation to read it..plus, this reviewer sounds as though she belongs here; unlace the ole battleaxe corset and bring it home, ladies! ;D

The heroine was beautiful without artifice--eschewing the paints and wigs of the 18th century. She loved children. She was a vicar's daughter and a good Christian woman. She even loved the obligatory retarded kid who just needed a mother's love to unlock his winning personality. The hero was a hard working titled lord and industrialist. He wanted a nice simple life with a wife and a family.

And the villainess? She was a jaded, over-painted, never to be seen in direct light, worn-out old whore who loved random dick and brandy. I kind of liked her. Naturally, she dies an ignominious death. The Evil Eleanor, locked into a room for her own safety so she can shake of the DTs, makes a botched attempt at a booze run by trying to crawl out her window and into another room where she can escape to the brandy supply. She falls to her death. Poor bitch didn't even get that last drink.

Undeniable Rogue is the first in a four book series, I've been able to get them all by watching the freebie sales.
