message 4751: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Instead of writing directly into the text box, sometimes I write on a Word file and save it to my miscellaneous or email folder constantly. I recommend this for anybody who has the kind of problem Angie described.

TPBM wants to give Scooby-Doo a belly rub and a scratch behind the ears.

message 4752: by Maria (new)

Maria (mariasaleem) | 119 comments Nah.
TPBM is sleeping

message 4753: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments If I was sleeping, I wouldn't be here typing this message. I'd probably be having dreams about going back to high school at the age of 29.

TPBM thinks it’s cute that the movie Home Alone has a pizza chain called Little Nero’s (which is an obvious parody of Little Caesar’s to avoid copyright lawsuits).

message 4754: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not particularly. It seems common in movies to have names that are parodies of things in real life.

TPBM saw some unexpected rain today.

message 4755: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments No rain here in Washington state (which is completely out of the ordinary), just lots of sunshine despite the chilly air. It's beautiful outside. :)

TPBM wants to try the new bacon crust deep dish pizza from Little Caesar’s.

message 4756: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Hmmm... Maybe if I'm in the mood for it.

TPBM thinks it would be funny if a cello got moved up to the first class of a flight and its owner did not.

message 4757: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments It would be a cruel irony and I love cruel ironies. Hehe!

TPBM has a music album that he or she is anticipating the release of.

message 4758: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Hmmm. I am stuck wondering how I could have one and anticipate having one concurrently. Perhaps it is like having the cake and eating it too. But, to be less English pedantic, I do not at this time have an album I am looking forward to having. I have come to enjoy being surprised by the music that finds me.

And speaking of being surprised by music, TPBM thought of Zoë Keating's song Lost when s/he read Angie's cello TPBM two TPBMs above this TPBM.

message 4759: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I did not, but then again, I wrote that TPBM. However, I just listened to that song and it's incredibly beautiful.

TPBM would love to give the score for "Lost" to a cellist friend.

message 4760: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I would! I have a lovely friend who is learning to play cello. :-)

TPBM had his/her opinion about the cello changed by listening to Zoe Keating.

message 4761: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments *

I've....always loved the cello, haha, so my opinion hasn't changed. But I love Zoe Keating.

TPBM still loves watching animated movies.

message 4762: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Movies and TV shows alike. I just recently watched Danger Mouse and Baby Looney Tunes on my Roku a few days ago. Yes, it's true: I'm 29 years old and I refuse to grow up. Hehe!

TPBM despises people who sue for fun.

message 4763: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Why would anyone sue for fun? That's just cruel.

TPBM hates people who set up "accidents" so that they can sue people for reparations.

message 4764: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. Although I have entered a strange time of being unable to watch either movies or TV!

TPBM gets restless watching TV when there are too many ads.

message 4765: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments The ads for Subway and JG Wentworth are particularly annoying, so yes, that would be a good time to hit the mute button.

TPBM has a favorite foreign accent.

message 4766: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments Oh definitely. Anybody with a British accent will always be able to woo me.

TPBM likes to play games or apps on a mobile phone.

message 4767: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I don't have a smart phone. I have a generic cell phone that I only use whenever I need to be picked up from somewhere. Needless to say, I don't play games on my generic phone.

TPBM fears public speaking.

message 4768: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not. I write and teach courses and have presented papers to large groups.

TPBM has successfully auditioned for a part in an amateur thatre production.

message 4769: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I haven't even tried to get into a theater production, so the answer is no.

TPBM has a Skype account.

message 4770: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, but I don't use it much. I made one because I had an interview that I couldn't attend in person.

TPBM is getting ready to go on a trip.

message 4771: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I am. On April 12th, I'm going up to Canada for five days. I've been there several times before and I love it.

TPBM is afraid of snakes (whether they’re venomous or not).

message 4772: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I think I'm more afraid of venomous snakes. I know someone who has a pet snake and its pretty cool.

TPBM believe all animals deserve protection against human infringement, even if we don't find them cute.

message 4773: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Absolutely. Even 500-lb bears that are capable of mauling me to shreds within seconds deserve protection. Alligators too. And tarantulas.

TPBM plays with Legos regardless of his or her age.

message 4774: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) Umm, yes! Legos are awesome and timeless!

TPBM drinks more water than anything else.

message 4775: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments The only time when I drink water is when it gets brewed into iced tea. I just got back from McDonald's and iced tea is what I'm drinking now, unsweetened of course.

TPBM owns at least one piece of Super Mario Brothers paraphernalia (aside from the actual games, obviously).

message 4776: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Nope, sorry, but no way.

TPBM has eaten ice cream for dinner at least once.

message 4777: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Not just dinner, but also for breakfast and lunch. It's the meal of champions!

TPBM just wants to close their eyes when they listen to “Suzanne” by Leonard Cohen.

message 4778: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Indeed, the lilting tune does make my eyelids fall over my eyes.

TPBM wishes that a song made tribute to their name.

message 4779: by Guy (last edited Mar 11, 2015 05:49AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not. My name is infinitely unusual and I have no wish to foist such distress on anyone.

TPBM has listened to Jennifer Warnes ' s covers of Cohen more times than they can count.

message 4780: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I keep trying to find a Jennifer Warnes cover of "Suzanne" on You Tube, but no dice. Maybe she didn't do one of that particular song, but it's sadly the only Leonard Cohen song I know of. As the jelly said in that Pop Tarts commercial, "Aw, jammit!"

TPBM thinks it’s funny when people scream and throw up at the same time.

message 4781: by Guy (last edited Mar 11, 2015 05:55AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, Hallelujah.

TPBM has decided to give up coffee.

message 4782: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I tried once, lasted for two months. worst two months ever!

TPBM has never left their country of origin.

message 4783: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I've vacationed in Canada and South America, so yes, I have left the US even if it was for a short while.

TPBM will call a dog a “puppy” regardless of its age.

message 4784: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Absolutely! And all cats, of every species, is a kitty.

TPBM finds it ironic that the people who have a lot of money are usually the first to complain about the attitudes of the rich.

message 4785: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I'm more irritated when they complain about people on welfare or poor people in general. That right there would be considered classism.

Whenever TPBM hears about the state of Kentucky, he or she gets hungry for fried chicken.

message 4786: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments No, I'm a vegan. But Kentucky does make me think of guitar music.

TPBM still watched their childhood tv show when they were a little to old.

message 4787: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. I never consider myself too old for anything I enjoy.

TPBM is reading too many books at the same time.

message 4788: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments "War Dances" by Sherman Alexie, "The Blood Guard" by Carter Roy, and all of the entries to this week's "Komorebi" contest. That's quite a bit.

TPBM doesn’t write historical fiction because he or she is afraid of inaccuracies.

message 4789: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Nope, I just make use of all of my old text books.

TPBM Has stayed up all night working on that "Last chapter" in their book.

message 4790: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments No, I don't write it because I am not a history fan and it's not something I find interesting or relatable.

TPBM is writing a persuasive essay on smoking for her English Language class.

message 4791: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments In response to Nadia, I've done that several times in my life. Just last night, I stayed up until midnight writing "Forever Autumn" for this week's story contest.

In response to Lee-lette, the last time I wrote about smoking was in my freshman year of college and I related it to schizophrenia since the latter is a topic near and dear to my heart.

TPBM recently bought a bunch of bookmarks.

message 4792: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. I don't seem to need to buy them. They are always free somewhere.

TPBM is tired, but can't sleep.

message 4793: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, I just woke up, but am a little tired as I had just about five hours and am now getting ready for work.

TPBM keeps a dream journal.

message 4794: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments The closest thing to a journal I used to have was posting about my dreams on my blog Garrison's Library. I don't post about them anymore because each entry was sounding the same and my audience deserves better than that.

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories named Paul.

message 4795: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I actually don't think I have. That's weird, maybe I need to create a "Paul "

TPBM thinks that socilizing is over-rated

message 4796: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments As a proud introvert, I'd have to agree with that one, Nadia. Sometimes it's best just to lock the door to my room and read a nice book or listen to some music.

Whenever TPBM sees a thread in this group that hasn’t been used in a while, he or she will make a post to try to generate more activity.

message 4797: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments You found me out! How did you know? I just feel so bad for the rejected threads.

TPBM feels like sleep is the most elusive of all ideas.

message 4798: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Considering I just woke up from a "baby nap" as my friend Susan likes to call it, I'd have to disagree.

TPBM likes to play with Greek prefixes and suffixes to make funny combinations (examples include Necrocracy (power to the dead), Kleptomancy (divination through stealing), and Pyrography (writing with or about fire)).

message 4799: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. But it sounds like fun!

TPBM gets tired of being "labeled" and just wants to be who they are.

message 4800: by Guy (last edited Mar 14, 2015 08:46AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not any more because I have come to understand that to accept fully who I am means, first or concomitantly, to accept others for who they are, even if that means accepting people enamoured of labelling.

TPBM would like to read The Art of Living: The Classical Manual on Virtue, Happiness and Effectiveness, even if s/he doesn't know that s/he does. ;-)
