message 4651: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I can't say that's ever happened to me before. The worst thing an English teacher said to me was that my writing was too vulgar and violent. I should have taken the high road and thanked her for it. Hehe!

TPBM gets creeped out by the Calcobrena Puppets theme from Final Fantasy IV.

message 4652: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I have no idea what you're talking about.

TPBM is sleepy.

message 4653: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments It's 12:07 in the morning here in Washington State and I'm still going strong. If I'm not sleepy now, I probably will be in the morning. Or afternoon, depending on how late I wake up.

TPBM was once stereotyped as being a one-dimensional writer (my best friend Susan and older brother James seem to think that all I write about is barbarians killing everybody in sight while wielding giant axes and wearing spiky metal armor).

message 4654: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No, though I only started sharing it within the last year.

TPBM can't get their short story short enough, again. :(

message 4655: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I don't have any such problems.

TPBM had fish for dinner

message 4656: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I haven't had dinner yet, but I imagine it will be pretty good whether we're having fish or not. The only things I've eaten today are convenience store sandwiches microwaved for one minute. They taste better once they're heated up for some reason.

TPBM jokingly calls Valentine’s Day “Singles Awareness Day” (which oddly enough has the acronym of S.A.D.)

message 4657: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I never looked at it that way.

TPBM is swamped with assignments

message 4658: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Seeing as how I don't go to school nor do I have a job, all of my assignments are self-imposed, which means I'm not swamped, because I can do them at my own leisure with no due date.

TPBM always wears sweatpants and a T-shirt regardless of the occasion.

message 4659: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope.

TPBM is reading

message 4660: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I WAS reading, but in between pages I kept getting interrupted by phone calls and my 11-year-old niece Reina. After a while of being cut off, I just gave up once the chapter was over.

TPBM is prone to sensory overload.

message 4661: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I've never heard of it but using context clues I think it has something to do with the malfunctioning of the sensory organs.

TPBM is so sleepy that their eyes burn

message 4662: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. (but my ear is hurting from waiting on hold)

TPBM need to open a huge stack of mail!

message 4663: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope,not today.

TPBM is hungry.

message 4664: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments My hunger was satisfied by a trip to McDonald's and a slice of Snickers cake. I'm being so good to my body right now.

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories whose last name is Moody.

message 4665: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope. But at my school, there's a Spanish teacher named Mr. Moody, but he kinda scares me.

TPBM loves holding baby bunnies.

message 4666: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I actually don't,in a way they look like any minute now they're going to attack.

TPBM was baby sitting.

message 4667: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Of course not! Sitting on top of young children could kill them!

TPBM thinks that Adipose are the cutest fictional aliens in existence.

message 4668: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I just Googled them and you're right: they're so darn cute! They look like little marshmallows! ^_^

TPBM uses the suffix “warrior” to describe argumentative people (examples include eco-warrior, keyboard warrior, bible warrior, etc.).

message 4669: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Never have before, but that might be a good idea. Might use it in the future.

TPBM has a story they'd like to finish, but hasn't been able to work on in a few months.

message 4670: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments It hasn't been months, but it's a long time in between chapters for my psychological science-fiction novel "Watch You Burn". The reason I haven't been working on it as of late is because editing Occupy Wrestling and American Darkness takes priority.

TPBM knows that getting in a romantic relationship with someone and “healing” that person doesn’t work in real life.

message 4671: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments We're human and we can never even fix ourselves, let alone another person. To go into a relationship with the intention to change the other changes the dynamic of the relationship. For it to have any benefit at all, the love must be unconditional, and for that both parties have to accept each other as they are.

Sorry, that was a bit long.

TPBM is very introspective when they first wake up in the morning.

message 4672: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments Introspective isn't the right word for me. Groggy and grumpy, on the other hand, might be closer to the truth.

TPBM knows the difference between being beautiful and being attractive.

message 4673: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, beauty has to do with personality and attractiveness is physical.

TPBM would like to help me with the world-building for my story by telling me their favorite animal and favorite mythical creature.

message 4674: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments My favorite animal is a cat and my favorite mythical creature is a dragon. I hope that was helpful. :)

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories with the last name Wilde.

message 4675: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope, not as of yet. Maybe in the future.

TPBM loves sugar cookies with strawberry frosting.

message 4676: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments Yes to sugar cookies. Haven't tried strawberry frosting.

TPBM has recently read a good non-fiction book.

message 4677: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments The most recent nonfiction book I read was "Super Mario: How Nintendo Conquered America" by Jeff Ryan. It rekindled my interest in the Mario videogame franchise, so much so that my 2015 calendar is Mario themed.

TPBM has a mini-refrigerator in his or her bedroom.

message 4678: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Nope. It would be dangerous if I had one. I'd probably never leave my room!

TPBM is surprised at the crazy weather this winter.

message 4679: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I live in Washington state; nothing about the current weather surprises me anymore. I've seen rainstorms in June and sunshine in January.

When TPBM was a kid, he or she used to get into arguments with other kids where they both said, “You’re stupid!” back and forth to each other.

message 4680: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Probably. I could remember more a LOT of immature things I said to my brothers when arguing with them, haha!

TPBM has had a dream where he/she was falling.

message 4681: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments When I was a kid, I dreamed I was falling into an ocean with great white sharks. But then I climbed out of the ravine so that I could go see a WWE live event. And I didn't get one limb bitten off, so that's good news for staving off childhood trauma. Hehe!

TPBM has a strong filter for the advice he or she takes.

message 4682: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, but it is probably stronger than it should be.

TPBM is working on learning to swallow their pride and take advice from those who they respect.

message 4683: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I am working on it, but not very hard. Despite my laziness in this endeavor, I've made considerable progress.

TPBM sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night with a burning sensation in his or her nose and throat (this was the inspiration for my most recent short story “Acid O’clock”).

message 4684: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope, I'm a pretty sound sleeper.

TPBM has a certain friend whose presence (or lack of) will make or break the day.

message 4685: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments For me, that friend is Susan. She's the one person in this universe who I can show my gross drawings and tell crude jokes to and she'll be a good sport about it. She'll be disgusted with those jokes and drawings, but she's still a good sport. :)

TPBM once got the funny idea of Photoshopping a fuzzy shako on an angry metal singer’s head (or a popcorn bucket, that’ll work too).

message 4686: by Lee (last edited Feb 18, 2015 08:08AM) (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Not at all.I have'nt got the slightest idea hoe to operate photoshop.

TPBM is reading.

message 4687: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments The last time I read, it was yesterday and it was this week's "Wanderlust" short story entries. I also got in a few internet articles. Oddly enough, I haven't started reading "The Blood Guard" by Carter Roy just yet. That'll change soon.

TPBM doesn’t understand how cleaning a dojo’s toilets or doing the higher-up students’ laundry will instill respect in a new pupil.

message 4688: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments What? Since when does doing somebody else's laundry instills respect?

TPBM is hot.

message 4689: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments If you mean in terms of attractiveness, not even close. If you mean in terms of temperature, that's even further from the truth.

TPBM has no desire to watch the new “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie when it hits theaters.

message 4690: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Finally, someone who agrees with me!

TPBM is kinda sleepy

message 4691: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I've been up and energetic since 10:30 this morning. I always feel better whenever I wake up early rather than sleep until 4:00 in the afternoon.

TPBM gets so easily frustrated with a boring book that they stop reading after only 15 or 30 pages.

message 4692: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes I do. If I wanted something boring i'd go watch a very old historical documentary.

TPBMs' exams starts on Monday.

message 4693: by Angie (last edited Feb 18, 2015 06:34PM) (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope. We're in the middle of our third quarter. My exams won't be until mid-March.

TPBM is a Whovian.

message 4694: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments If that means from Whoville then I am not. If that means some one who loves the David Byrne and St. Vincent sing then I am.

TPBM is a huge fan of David Byrne.

message 4695: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Guy,a Whovian is a person who is a fan of doctor who...Who is David Byrne?

TPMB has a mild headache

message 4696: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) I have mild headaches all the time. It's the migraines I have to watch out for.

TPBM thinks there are worse things to listen to on repeat than the FROZEN soundtrack.

message 4697: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments This is going to sound like blasphemy, but I'm not too thrilled about listening to David Draiman from Disturbed say the word "enemy" over and over again. I'm also not partial to Max Cavalera from Soulfly saying, "Is a weapon!" for the same number of times.

TPBM once described a warrior character as “born and bred to rip and shred”.

message 4698: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) No, but I could think of a few of my characters who match such a description.

TPBM has converted a DVD shelf to a book shelf.

message 4699: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10186 comments I keep my DVD's and CD's in a chest of drawers. I keep my books on a big ass bookcase. To answer your question, no, I haven't done that yet. But it's a damn good idea.

TPBM would eat something called “The Seafood Diablo”.

message 4700: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Maybe I would if I knew what that is.

TPBM now has a migraine headache.
