Stephen J. Wolf is a science teacher with a PhD in science education and a penchant for fantasy books, movies, and video games.

Wolf started writing in 8th grade after a teacher prompted the class to write about a person, a place, and an object drawn from a box. Wolf linked those together into what would become his first writing venture.

Wolf self-published his first novel, Journeys in Kallisor, in 2015. This book spawned three sequels and two prequels, an omnibus, and an art book.

Breaking from the norm, Wolf wrote five Choose-the-Fate stories, which allow the reader to make decisions for the main character.

Wolf also crafted two Coding for Kids books to teach the fundamentals of coding in JavaScript. Adults also enjoy the books.

Stephen J. Wolf is currently not accepting new questions.

If it has been happening for a while and I have to break through, I start by writing nonsense. I create scene with monkeys dancing a samba and making my characters deal with it. Then I end up erasing it once they remember what they're really supposed to be doing and the story moves on again.(less)
