In the inside back cover of my copy, it tells me that the film rights have been sold to the director who directed the film, Mama. So, I'm not sure if it's actually being made into a film, but supposedly the script is in place at the studios. As somebody else said, I'm not sure how they'll cover the creatures, because in the book it's easily left to the imagination as they are never explained or even seen by the reader--so the movie could easily ruin the premise if they screwed up on that big detail.(less)

Tak som sa konečne dočkala knihy, kde je popísaná zvláštna apokalypsa a uprostred je sama mama a deti. Geniálne. A desivé zároveň. Predstavte si, že tí, čo sa pozrú na „tvory", tak sa zbláznia, zabijú seba, niekedy zaútočia aj na iných ľudí. Možno ze len šialenec zvládne pozerať sa na ne... ale riskovali by ste to?! Majorie žije už viac ako štyri roky v zatemnenom dome, kam sa dostala po smrti svojej setry, keď svet náhle začal byť nebezpečné miesto pre život. Von po vodu chodí ona a jej deti po ...more

Výborné čítanie, hneď od úvodu som sa ponorila do strašidelného sveta. Ak "niečo" uvidíte, môže vás to stáť život. Autorka sa zahráva s napätím a akciou, príbeh je dynamický, strieda sa v ňom prítomnosť a minulosť a je to výborne prepletené. Jediným mínusom je vygradovanie a záver, čakala som od záveru viac. Nebola som vyslovene sklamaná, ale nebolo to ani "wau" finále, aké by si kniha zaslúžila.

Tento horor bol fantastický. Naozaj som sa bála. Autor vie písať pútavo a dokáže vytvárať také situácie, ktoré vás zaručene vyľakajú. Nápad bol výborný. Napredovanie deja nestagnovalo. Bola som ochotná dať príbehu plný počet. No záver môže dielu pomôcť alebo ho úplne potopiť.

Blbý nápad čítať túto knihu po tme a pred spaním... Podľa mňa je veľmi dobre napísaná, cítiť z nej strašidelnú a napätú atmosféru a som ochotná jej odpustiť aj to, že sa na konci nič nevysvetlilo.

Pred tým, ako som začala túto knihu čítať som nemala žiadne očakávania, keďže som nevidela ani film. ALE! Kniha je úžasne napísaná, je plná fantázie a napätia. Pri niektorých častiach som ani nedýchala a ťažko sa mi púšťala z rúk. Ukončenie sa mi tiež páčilo, ale jediná vec, ktorá mi tam chýbala a stále nad ňou uvažujem je to, že sme sa nedozvedeli, čo sú to za stvorenia.
