S.C. Wiles has always had an interest in understanding what makes people tick, which led her to earn a BA in Psychology and then an MS in Counselor Education. After taking a long pause from work to stay at home with her children, she channeled her love of good stories, and curiosity of the human condition into writing.

S.C. grew up in California and now lives on the East Coast with her husband and three children. When she is not writing, S.C. enjoys reading, taking walks with her family, traveling, and baking.
