Tokyo Ever After (Tokyo Ever After, #1)

This book was cute, though I didn't love it as much as I hoped. And because I've been reading a lot of books on writing, I think I know why it didn't quite work for me - there just isn't enough drama in a lot of ways. There is definitely a story line that I'm glad paid off like I thought it would because otherwise I'd be talking in therapy about how it not happening was definitely reflecting something in me that I wasn't ready to deal with!
Still, this book is cute. If you are a fan of the Princess Diary movies (I haven't actually read the books oh god), I think you'll enjoy it. Goodreads does seem to imply it might be a series, even though there really aren't any hanging threads in the book, but I'd likely pick up a sequel.
It won't blow you away, but I'm glad I picked it up.
