What engaged me as a reader:

• The banter between Hank and Rosie was fun to read as were Rosie's interactions with the outlaws.
• Many times, the situations Rosie found herself in were hilarious and brought a smile to my face or a giggle.
• Hank, the sheriff, was overprotective of women because of the kidnapping of his sister and the death of his mother. He did not want Rosie to ride with the posie, even if she was an amazing sharp shooter and a great horsewoman.
• Rosie was determined to ride with the posse, so she disguised herself as a man and took on the persona of Ross.
• The writer's words painted clear pictures that helped me to visualize the scenes and the emotions of the characters.
• This novel was an engaging and amusing tale of romance between a tomboy and a Marshall that I think you will enjoy. This is a western romantic comedy and should be read as such.
