it was amazing

After reading so many mac Black books for children recently, this was a bit of a change, but certainly an enjoyable one. First of all, I love that it is a reverend that is the main character. This book is almost an "if Father Brown became a cat," sort of scenario, with Mac Black's trademark British humour. It's the main thing I love about his books actually, that they require some measure of intellect to read and understand the jokes.

Scuffo keeps getting better throughout the book, as he finds himself in various precarious and (precocious) situations that at times make you cringe and at other times make you burst out laughing.

If you are looking for something fun to read that will make you want to read passages to others, this book is just the thing. I really think Mac Black is capable of writing equally well for adults and for children, but I have to admit, this book is my favourite one in a while. I'm hoping for more of a similar nature in the future.

Read this one and tell your friends. Everyone needs a bit of laughter these days.
