it was amazing

A passionate and detailed account of how José Andrés and his coalition of chefs pieced together an effective system of feeding Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria (2017) despite bureaucratic roadblocks. Very interesting read as a logistician focusing my studies on humanitarian and disaster relief logistics. The logistical challenges of serving prepared food versus MREs and other "shelf stable" rations are huge, yet Andrés, World Central Kitchen, and Chefs for Puerto Rico managed to do it on an island.
