The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, #1)

I made it halfway through this book and I just....cannot continue it. I tried! I really did!
I just don't find any of the characters developed (saved for Cormac) and spend a good junk of the time trying to remember who is who. Even Robin, the secretary who is supposed to be important(?) blends into the sea of characters for me.
The investigation isn't hitting me well either. There just seems to be a lot of focus on it being a suicide and I mean, if that's all it was supposed to be (it's not, I looked up the ending) then cool. Overall I just have too many books to sit here and groan and dread picking up this one.
