it was amazing

This book is well informed on trauma and the many methods for treating PTSD. If you have experienced trauma, live with someone who had, or are in the profession of treating others, read this book. I wish more professionals would dig deeper into the roots of the problem rather than treat patients in an assembly line—prescribing drugs that mask problems, not solve them, and in the process creating others. This book is so full of information that I need to go back and reread it, likely more than once. But even one time was enough to help me to better understand how my brain works and the possible treatments available for PTSD.
