Thank you Berkley Books and Karen Rose for my copy of Say You're Sorry.

This was my first Karen Rose book and now I want to go back and read all of her books. It definitely won't be my last.

Rose created two fabulous characters in Daisy and Gideon. I loved the chemistry she delivered with her main characters but also with the Sokolov family. I love how strong Daisy was. She could take care of herself and didn't need anyone else. That is what makes her relationship with Gideon so special. She didn't need him but he was there for her when she did need him. Same for Gideon, he didn't need Daisy but she made him better.

I love the family dynamic in this book. It is unexpected in a romantic suspense novel. The Sokolov family is warm and inviting. They make you want a family that will embrace you and show you warmth. You also get Daisy and Gideon's family dynamics. Both the main characters come from messed up families and you see the contrast of their messed up family next to the warm Sokolov family.

I loved the romance in this book. It wasn't in your face. The romance is subtle amongst the suspense. The romance was believable and swoon worthy. The suspense wasn't over the top either. It was gripping and intriguing. You could believe that someone was going around the country kidnapping and killing women. The killer was the right amount of creepy. Rose had me peering around corners and watching my back when leaving public places while reading this book.

Don't let the amount of pages daunt you. This book was so fast paced and intriguing you never notice how big it is. Pick up this book because it will give you a little bit of everything and not leave you wanting. I can't wait for Rose's next book!
