So is it official that these books are going to do school stories on the odd and individual character(s) stories on the even? Because I am all for this.
I keep expecting these stories to let me down. While I rated the last one a 5, it was probably my least favorite (I still absolutely love it) but it led me to be a little hesitant. Still, I waited TWELVE MONTHS ON PINS AND NEEDLES for this book to come out. I tried for an ARC on Netgalley, and really I should just buy these books. The covers first and foremost are absolutely gorgeous.
The story became my favorite quickly. I won't pretend I had a lonely childhood and could relate immediately to Lundy, but there is still something about her that I feel a kinship to. The logic of the Goblin Market is just on the verge of insanity to me, but also a very clear understanding of giving and needing.
This isn't a story of romantic love, but instead of finding and understanding family and that impulse to belong.
I am curious if (view spoiler)
Now to wait until 2020 for book 5 T__T

I need to get all the books eventually too. I have a signed copy of Every Heart a Doorway thanks to a friend at SDCC the year it came out, but I don't actually own any of the others yet, and I feel like the more books that happen the more I'm going to want the others so I can go back and reference things.
