really liked it

An interesting look at how a snow-job can turn into the real thing before you realize it's happening. Rachel doesn't mind helping Pari with her green card needs, and Pari is willing to help Rachel some with her student loans, so they decide on a whim to get engaged.

And then Pari's mother takes over. Not as smooth sailing, or as private, as they thought it would be.

They barely have any time to get to know each other before they're suddenly expected to know all about each other because they're getting married in a few weeks. Whirlwind romance it is not, though they try. But somewhere in the midst of chaos, they manage to find each other and figure out how love (and family) actually fits into this picture.

A lovely story.
