it was amazing
bookshelves: urban-fantasy, autographed
Recommended for: Anyone and their dog, provided they'd read the rest of the series first

Another very solid addition to Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series! All the characters we know and love are back in action, and the book delivers all the mystery, snark, emotion, and wizardly pyrotechnics fans of Harry Dresden have come to expect.

However, I would strongly recommend newcomers to the series to stay away until they've gotten some of the other books under their belts, as it relies heavily on its predecessors, especially "Blood Rites" and "Proven Guilty." Heck, the blurb alone contains a major spoiler for "Blood Rites," sixth in the series. Tread carefully!
