really liked it

"I am happy," Mitzi said. "I'm very happy. But nobody is put together. We're sure all expected to act like it, though, aren't we? It's kind of ridiculous if you think about it. Nobody admiting their weaknesses, everybody taking so much responsibility for everything. Life is stressful."

This book is about being lonely, learning to be alone, but also re-defining what family truly is. There were quite a few characters in this short book, which made it a little complex to read at times, but the message of the novel shined through quite brightly.

A nice uplifting read about making mistakes, forgiving yourself, and moving on.
