Aaron It's not you! Willingham really should have ended before this Dark Ages stuff. It all feels tacked on and muddled. Are we supposed to feel that this war not having a clean resolution is some Iraq metaphor? Harder question -- are we supposed to care that it is?

Rory Darn it! I've been waiting for my best friend to return from South America to read this I'm not sure I'm dying to anymore.

Monica Totally agreed on the muddy Dark Ages stuff. And the messy resolution of the war feels unlike a metaphor for anything except than sloppy writing.

Rory - You should certainly still read it. I don't think its terrible. It just feels terribly dull at the moment.
