really liked it
bookshelves: on-kindle

I really enjoyed this book. Picoult is a predictable writer that uses the same type of storyline repeatedly. Parent protecting child who is in a bad situation or done somethig bad. Big twist at end, that is sometimes predictable and sometimes slightly different than what i would have guessed. All in all I still enjoy reading the books because there is always a centralized topic that interests me. This one was centered around Asperger's Syndrome. I wanted to read this to see a little more into the world of a child dealing with this disability and to try and understand how hard it must be for the child and the family. I really enjoyed the perspective Picoult gave to the family and feel she portrayed this very well. the end did leave me a bit irritated. I didn't feel she tied it all up very well, but I still enjoyed the book overall.
