I'm going with 3 1/2 stars on this one. It took a couple chapters to get into this but in the end it was a HOT read. Evangeline is a jeweled. She can take and manipulate others emotions. Her main goal at the palace is to move up the magical food chain even if it means sleeping with men and women. Just when things were going her way, the palace was invaded by the non-magical and the poor. Royals were killed and she barely escaped with her life. Thanks to Anatol, the man who saved her, she began to feel her own emotions and fell in love with him. After a rocky re-start, Anatol was captured by the revolutionaries and only the only person who could save him was Gregorio. The man who started the whole revolutionary to begin with.

Staying in Gregorio's home while recovering from his injuries, Anatol began to realize that Evangeline needed both of them. It was a love story of how three people couldn't live without each other and how they made it work.
