What would you do if you could actually predict your own death and that of your love one? Could you stop it from happening?

Twelve years ago Daniel Geller a mathematical genius was laughed at when he submitted his papers on his findings. He then quit college and left behind the papers and the people he experimented on even his girlfriend at the time to become a crane o operator.

Suddenly an old professor resurfaces wanting him to predict his wife's death after on of his death predictions came true. The professor tells him that his former girlfriend death date is approaching and if it happens it would validate his formula even more.

Daniel is torn whether he wants the validation as he visits her and tells her about her death date. She is skeptical but reluctantly ends up spending the day with him. Thinking it was after midnight he leaves her but then realizes he forgot to rest his watch and it still the date in question. He rushes back but he ends up finding her face down in a pool full of blood in the living room.

It seems like another prediction is fulfilled and that it occurred even when you try to prevent it. Does Daniel have the ability to really predict death or was it coincident?

Intriguing concept that makes the reader to question things.
