really liked it
bookshelves: artsy-fartsy
Read in November, 2007

definitely timely visual commentary on the interconnections between historical racism and the "deluge" of Katrina, Kara Walker is one of the most interesting and provocative artists around these days, i think. Nasher at Duke has a piece of hers in one of their exhibits.
