it was amazing

When the narrator (whose name we never learn) is sent to live with his distant relatives on their farm in Minnesota, he feels completely out of place. He feels even more out of place when he spends time with his distant cousin, Harris. Harris is a major troublemaker and finds all kinds of ways to trick our narrator into different situations.

This book is hilarious. It's a book that adults and kids can both get into because the characters are incredibly believable. That's probably due to the fact that Paulsen wrote this book based on his own life experiences. It's probably also believable because everyone knows an ADHD kind of kid who would do something like pee on an electric fence, get shocked, and then do something even more stupid the next day.
