Another adventure for Max and her flock of kids who essentially were science experiments by an evil corporation. This time for a break they visit and Antarctica and help with research about global warming. Of course the bad guys come and there is a show down but that is all a part of the adventure. Really like that Patterson knows who is writing for. Characters don't use bad language and mayhem is exciting but not gross. (As it is in his books for adults). Compared to the first books this was about half the size and probably a better fit for his audience.
