Allie Did you ever buy this one? Do you plan on reading it anytime soon?

Jenny Q I did buy this one from Book Depository. It's been sitting on my TBR shelf! I was shocked at the size of it! Why, are you about to read it?

Allie Yep. Just started it this past weekend. It is huge!! I am about 200 pages in... I really like it so far.

Jenny Q I follow Helen Hollick's blog and she's working on a revision of this book for an American release, she said she's been asked to trim it by 40,000 words! I'm glad I've got the original, though.

Allie 40k words? that is insane!! I am glad I have the original too. I wonder how different the story will be for the US release...

Jenny Q I'm still trying to find a copy of Harold the King, too. Nobody has it in stock!

There's an older hardcover version you might try and find. I am soooooo glad I bought Harold a couple of years ago when not everyone wanted it. Here's some purchase options from Fetchbook,

PS, there's also Valerie Anand's Gildenford books set in this period as well. Hard to find, but search and you might get lucky. And don't forget ILL.

Jemidar I bought Harold the King from the UK book depository a couple of days ago, so they should still have stock. They also do free worldwide shipping.

Jenny Q Speaking of this book, Helen just put up a fascinating post about book covers, and she's got the title and cover for the US version of Hollow Crown. It's pretty cool, check it out:
