it was amazing

This book is SO USEFUL. I've read a lot of writing books. I like them. But most of them are more helpful for beginners than for people who have been writing for several years. This one, by an editor, gets into more detail than other writing books I've read, covering everything from style to structure; edits at story level and sentence level; ideas for enriching plots and characters; submission format; and also how to write a query letter and synopsis. It's a guide for revising existing work, but I believe it will be valuable for planning new stories and novels, as well. Thorough and well-written advice.

Alex Fayle Most of the books I've read about editing are so dry that I can't connect them to what I'm actually writing. Detailed might work for me. I'll go check it out. Thanks for the review.
