My favorite book in this series, which might be my favorite series ever. In this book, begun in the 70s and finished in the 90s, King has discovered the true shape of the tower, and how it holds together Roland's world, and all of Stephen's worlds too.

And bonus, the story of Roland and Susan is a heart breaker, and told within the context of the story of Roland and his newest ka-tet? Well, we aren't sure yet if it will break our hearts, but after this book, we know it will stand and be true. We have not forgotten the faces of our fathers . . .

Add to the wonder of the story the true genius of Frank Muller's narration. I'm sad it has ended and wonder how long I can wait before I have to listen to the entire thing again.
