it was amazing

One very frustrating aspect of this case is how entrenched the media was. The U.S. media insisted this girl cannot be a killer because she appears sweet and is adorable. The Italian and British media went crazy with the "foxy knoxy" crap. I have no idea if she did or did not kill her roommate. I did enjoy this book. The author is fair and delves into the fact that the U.S. media had to offer positive coverage to keep access to the Knox family. Interesting. Also, very intersting to learn that the New York Times reporter did not attend the trial and much of the American media relied on those who were in attendance (and required to positively cover the family to keep access). Add in language and cultural barriers and you begin to see how the view of this crime is so different based on where you live and the coverage you received.
