it was amazing

Well this book is absolutely adorable. A teen dating guru--who is believable--who helps people through her Web site/IMs/phone calls? Where was Kayla when I was in high school?! The author sets the heroine up nicely as a sort of therapist in training with interest in/access to all kinds of relationship books, making her believable as a wise-for-her-years advice source who screws up once in a while but mostly gets it dead on. The heroine's own stance on dating--not interested --takes a turn for the delightfully romantic when she sits next to semi-new guy in art class and has her own romantic trials alongside those of a friend she winds up advising anonymously through her site. To tell or not to tell her friend/s who she is...? is a theme throughout, and there's a speed dating night yo won't want to miss. Totally addictive. Can't wait for the sequel (The Oracle Rebounds, coming in Nov, I think.)
