really liked it

Another great book by Rainbow Rowell! She has such a great way of writing that makes you feel like you're right there. Her characters are real- not the cookie-cutter kind of characters you run into. I really enjoyed this story that revisits how Georgie and Neal came to where they are in their relationship. For inexplicable reasons, Georgie has access to an old landline phone at her mother's house and ends up talking to her husband… the twenty something year old version of him, right before he'd proposed. Through a series of phone calls, she has to decide what the point of all of it is, and if she wants to fight for her marriage. It's a fun, interesting and entertaining story!

I did have one question I wanted answered that wasn't (*minor spoiler alert) which was why didn't older version of Neal call her the whole time? Was he really just mad? The kids couldn't have had the phone for that long. I was just waiting for the answer and then it didn't get totally answered.

But I really enjoyed the book and will continue to read Rainbow Rowell's books!
