This started off really promisingly, as an entertaining and twisted satire on life in a high school, told by an outcast with mental health problems, Johnny Middleton. Someone is killing off the school pets, and suspicion has fallen on him. In order to clear his name, Johnny has to solve the mystery and infiltrate the various cliques on the school campus to see what they know. As he gets further into his investigations, the lines between reality and imagination get blurred. However, I felt like the story lost its way at the end and ended rather abruptly and disappointingly.
