liked it

I think I was expecting more from the ending of this book because it was so interesting and kept me hooked with every chapter. The ending was ok but it was sort of anticlimactic. I had no idea of the horror of July 16, 1942 in France. I have never heard of the Vel'd'Hiv as most people probably have not because it was hidden even from French history unless you asked. The tragedy was never officially recognized until 1995 by then President Jacques Chirac.
