really liked it
bookshelves: adult

Loved this: adventure, romance and mystery. Storytelling like the old days. Very entertaining. Kept thinking about the characters for ages afterwards which is a good sign. My husband wants to read it now.

Sue Ashby Nick Hawkes has the empathy and compassion of a female wordsmith. I’ve never read a romantic novel by a man that was so connected to a woman’s feelings and emotions. He writes like Nora Roberts, drawing you into his world immediately
However, his historical and adventurous detail is all masculine and intriguing. The “Stone Collection” uses artifacts and history woven with fiction, to perfection! Can’t wait to read the remaining two.
