I rarely say this about a book, but this was a load of crap. The premise was not entirely unsound, but he takes it way to far. Those that suffer do so because they somehow deserve it. Those that succeed by apparently despicable means have hidden goodness that is really the key to their success.

While I do feel that attitude has a lot to do with our personal worlds and the ways we make them, but not the entirety of it. I found the book to be aggravating, ultimately.

Circe The premise is that people are fully responsibe for their entire life and their circumstances, good or bad. Honor, love, and integrity bring forth honor love and integrity. Hate malice greed and judgment bring forth hate malice greed and judgment. Circumstance does not make the man it fully reveals him. The simplicity of the text and the soundness of the advice does aggrevate many who do not see the foundation of right thought equals right action and vise versa.Theres an old saying, "the truth shall set you free but first its gonna piss you off".. We all see the world through different lenses I read this book almost 15 years ago and have givin it as gifts to many many people and some didnt care for it while others said it completely freed their world of judgment, pain, poverty and hopelessness.
