The second hilarious book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. It's the next September, with school starting up again, and Greg is back in top form, pulling pranks on his peers, wondering why he's best friends with a total dork, and dealing with a dysfunctional family. Unfortunately for Greg, his older brother, Rodrick, knows about an embarrassing thing that happened to Greg over the summer, so Greg can't fight back unless he wants his secret spilled to his entire class.

There are just as many jokes and laugh-out-loud moments in this book as there were in the first, and the humor is so spot-on. The author clearly knows how to think like a kid Greg's age and has a great knack for humor. I laughed out loud so much. The entire book had a great pace to it, no slow parts, and I can't wait to read the 3rd book now. What a great series!
