it was ok

Unfortunately a bit of a disappointment. I liked Babel 17, the only other fiction novel of Delany I have read, better. The characters didn’t really resonate with me and the plot was formulaic. I don’t know anything about the Tarot or of Grail lore so I might have missed a lot there but as space opera the plot was just way too flat. Also Delany’s odd syntax is sometimes so weird it made my eyes go crossed. It is unfortunate since Delany can clearly write well. I remain hopefully.
