it was ok
bookshelves: 2010
Read from March 19 to 21, 2010

Started off interesting, but then became repetitious and rather dull. There are better Chinese history books out there.

Marlene This looks interesting. Will try to get it.

Alexis It's not a fiction book. It is pretty interesting, but some of the writing is a bit repetitive. It looks at the life of a woman who was won in a poker tournament. She was the first Chinese woman to end up in Idaho.

Marlene Won't waste my time on Poker Bride, but I do like Hornby so will take your recommendation.
