really liked it

I continue to enjoy this book series, mostly for the fascinating insights into the lives of our fore-bearers. It is astonishing how few comforts these people had, only a century ago. In this story, the family moves into town for the winter, and have a comparative whirl wind of social activity. I think this life style is a revelation for Laura, especially since she is entering adolescence and all that means.
