it was amazing

The story is about a tortoise and a hare that are going to race each other. The hare makes fun of the tortoise on how slow it takes him to do things and tells him that he will never win the races. You do not have to be the fastest to win just have to keep at it.

The book is a square book with great pictures throw out the book. This is one of my favorite books to read because Janet Stevens, who is the author, signed the inside cover and draw a pictures for my mom. The pictures are of Hare from in the story. The pictures in the book look like they are done with color pencils and have a lot of details. Some of my favorite details are the shoes the animals wear in the book, to how the animals fair looks so real. This would be a great story to read to your students to teach them it is not nice to think you are better then someone. You could point out things that Hare does to Tortoise and talk about them.
