I don't really like short fiction, but I wanted to see what her prose was like (outside of 'The Bell Jar'). In short, I don't like it as much as her poetry. Although there is a great deal of poetry within the prose. Lots of striking and unique images throughout. It was great to see how she worked scenes described in her journal sections into later stories. I shall look forward to embarking on her journals in full one day soon.
