did not like it
bookshelves: cringe-worthy, characters-fell-flat, wow-bad, young-adult, wtf, library-loaned, favorite-covers, dungeon-of-shame

Okay, so I started to write a long, drawn-out review of this, then lost everything I'd written. Instead of typing that all out again, I'll be lazy and link to some other good criticisms of this novel and, more specifically, its lingustic awfulness.

I will say, though, that I'm reading the second book of the trilogy now. While I'm hoping it will be better, 55 pages in, I can already tell that my liking it is a far-flung outcome.
