it was amazing
bookshelves: borrowed, fantasy-world, witch-fantasy
Read from July 10 to 13, 2017

This book has a different tone from the previous one. It isn't so dark and twisted. It still has its violent death descriptions, but not the raped sex description. In a weird way has a more teen feeling to it.

As in the other book it covers several years in a fluid way, and what doesn't stop surprising me (in a good way) is that when the characters the story follows change the time never goes back (at most the events happen simultaneous to the previous ones). I find this approach to passing time refreshing, but I noticed it because I really like Daemon and I miss him (not much happening where he was).

This is the king of book where I can't read two of them in a row. If I do I will get stuck in that world for a long time, and I won't be able to read any thing else for a while. So I'm pacing myself and preparing myself to read the third (and final book in this trilogy). But I suppose that I'll buy the other book set in that world soon enough.

Artemisa I still miss Daemon a lot...
By now I remembered the story more as a whole, and didn't remember all the events, so it was nice to rediscover a couple of the stories.
